Sustainability

Materials from renewable resources and recyclable packaging are an integral part of KE Technik’s approach.

Our environmental contribution: bio‑based plastics, recyclable packaging, efficient manufacturing processes, waste recycling

Sustainability at KE Technik begins right at the production stage. Through targeted measures, we ensure that our manufacturing processes and the materials we use are both resource‑efficient and energy‑efficient.

Waste management is also an integral part of our sustainability concept. Our goal: as little waste as possible, as much reuse and recycling as possible.

One example of this is the complete conversion of our lighting to modern LED technology, which significantly reduces energy consumption. In addition, we regularly invest in new machinery that meets the latest energy‑efficiency standards – ensuring long‑term optimization of energy use in production.

We also take responsibility when it comes to materials:
We actively support our customers in selecting sustainable materials, for example by using regranulate – a recycled plastic that is fed back into the production cycle. Together, we contribute to the circular economy, conserve resources, and reduce waste.

In addition, we increasingly use bio‑based plastics made from renewable raw materials such as corn or sugarcane – an environmentally friendly alternative to fossil‑based materials.

We also think ahead when it comes to packaging: our optimized, recyclable packaging solutions minimize waste and conserve resources. And together with our customers, we continuously improve transport and logistics processes to reduce emissions and make supply chains more efficient.

This is how sustainability at KE Technik is not just an idea – but a concrete reality.

Instead of simply disposing of waste, we consistently return it to the material cycle – either internally within our own operations or through specialized external recycling partners. This conserves resources and significantly reduces environmental impact.

Through continuous optimization of our processes, we are also able to noticeably reduce material and energy consumption – without compromising on quality or productivity. Efficiency in manufacturing is, for us, an active contribution to sustainability.

Another important step: we have launched targeted initiatives to make thermoset waste – heat‑resistant plastics that are typically difficult to recycle – reusable again. This initiative represents an innovative contribution to recovering valuable materials, even in challenging cases.

KE Technik takes circular economy principles to the next level – demonstrating that even in waste management, there is real potential for the future.
