Additives are supplementary substances that give the polymer an extended property profile. We use additives to meet special requirement profiles, tailoring standard plastics to the specific needs of our customers, for example:
- lubricants (oils, graphite, molybdenum disulfide)
- heat stabilizers
- impact modifiers
- flame retardants
Reinforcements (e.g., glass fibers or minerals) and colorants are not considered additives.
