The challenge

Hair clippers for professional use – very high demands on the surface quality, avoidance of weld seams on the openings.

The solution

Thanks to involvement in the development phase of the component, the plastic-compatible design, the special temperature control in the injection mould and the design of the injection points (through accompanying filling simulations during mould design) with appropriate process control makes it possible to achieve outstanding surface qualities. These top surfaces on the plastic component are the absolute prerequisite for further surface treatments such as painting, coating or chrome plating. If the component quality from injection moulding production is not right, imperfections are even more noticeable after painting or coating.
